M1 collectors club

Anyone on here a member of the Civilian Marksmanship Program or M1 Collectors Club out of Rockville? Looking to buy a M1 Garand from the Surplus and need some info and advice. Can you PM me. I have some questions.

I have been looking for parkerized M1 15 rounds magazines for my collection. What I have seen so far is cleaned up magazines with traces of corrosion, then parkerized. In no way attractive. I have been told the parkerized magazines were intented for troops in South East Asia. They should resist the humid climate better when parkerized.
