Re: Place to stay near Rome, off the beaten path. We're staying at Anne's Place in Palestrina in November. We're paying a reasonable fee to be picked up & taken back to the airport. I don't know about taking you to sites where general tourists don't go, but from what I've read it wouldn't surprise me.
